Fenwei has selected representative coal mines and enterprises from main coal areas in Shanxi, Shaanxi, Inner Mongolia,  as the dynamic monitoring points of production, sales and inventory. Their prices, production, inventories and profits are tracked on a regular basis to produce dynamic monitor data for the quantitative study of production, sales and inventories of Chinese coal and coke producers.

Mines of the same capacity and ownership will be chosen to substitute those that need undergo bankruptcy regrouping. In this case, subscribers will be informed timely.

There are three versions, covering 66 and 100 and 160 coal mines respectively.

160 coal mines: The sample coal mines currently include 55 mines in Shanxi with capacity at 226 Mtpa, 44 mines in Shaanxi at 258 Mtpa, 61 mines in Inner Mongolia at 375 Mtpa. A total of 160 coal mines are chosen in the three regions, with capacity combined at 859 Mtpa.
