As the global energy transition accelerates, Mongolia has become China's largest source for coking coal imports. In 2025, customs clearance efficiency at the China-Mongolia border ports is expected to improve further. This, along with the start of construction on the second cross-border railway, the Ganqimaodu-Gashuun Sukhait Railway, will further optimize the supply chain for Mongolian coal imports.
In light of these developments, Sxcoal will host the "4th Mongolia Coal Resources Industry Exchange 2025" in September. This year's event will focus on Mongolian coal resources and the opportunities presented by expanded railway transport capacity. It will also address policy risks, such as pricing in Mongolia, to help companies capitalize on new import hotspots and deepen cross-border resource cooperation.
